Alex Robinson, Director of Personnel

Alex Robinson has been playing clarinet with the San Francisco Wind Ensemble since the beginning of the second season. She received her Bachelor of Music Degree in Clarinet Performance at Missouri State University, and her Master of Music Degree in Clarinet Performance from Louisiana State University. While in school, she received many accolades for her playing, including the Louis Armstrong Jazz Award, the Tom Chaney Memorial Scholarship, the LSU Music Tiger Scholarship, and positions in the top bands and orchestras at each of her alma maters. She has been teaching clarinet, flute, and saxophone for several years and is an avid performer for groups around the San Francisco Bay Area. She is very excited to be on the board of directors for the San Francisco Wind Ensemble and is excited to see the group's continual growth.
